The Board has endorsed six club championship formats for the 2026/27 season, details of which can be found below. The club championships are for all members, not just the strongest players. The aim is to promote inclusiveness, build player confidence by developing playing skills, create social interaction and strengthen club culture. The formats and eligibility criteria for the competitions have been developed specifically to encourage greater participation across the membership cohort from novice bowlers to experienced bowlers. The success of each competition will be assessed at the end of the season.
To ensure that participation is affordable, entry costs have been capped at $10.00 to enter one competition or $20.00 to enter two or more competitions.
Name sheets for each competition have been placed on a table in the clubhouse opposite the noticeboard. Please add your name to the name sheet for each of the competitions that you wish to enter. You will find envelopes on the table. Endorse the envelope with your name and indicate which competition/s you wish to enter. Place $10.00 or $20.00 (cash or token/s) into and envelope, seal it and place it in the competition’s lockbox. EFTPOS payment cannot be accepted at this time.
All members regardless of ability are encouraged to participate in the club championships to help strengthen the competitive and social aspects of our club. Members who do not necessarily expect to win often gain valuable experience and become more engaged with the club.
