The Club Coach, as appointed by the Board, has the primary objective of improving the overall standard of bowls within the Club membership.

The incumbent is accountable to the Bowls Director for the execution of his/ her duties.

·       Responsibilities include:

o   Establish and coordinate training, practice and performance evaluation programs in conjunction with accredited Coaches and Selectors.

o   Encourage and facilitate the spread of knowledge (Coaches, Umpires and Measurers) throughout the Club.

o   Where appropriate, arrange for professional coaching. Funding for this may come from individuals/groups involved, or on the approval of the Board, from the Club itself.

o   Attendance at Selectors’ Meetings when invited for advice.
